Summer Camps at Liberty Hall Historic Site

Ten junior thespians came to Liberty Hall Historic Site in July for Camp Shakespeare, a production of the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival.  They performed their version of Hamlet on July 24 to an audience of more than 50 friends and family. (Top two rows of pictures)

During the last week of July 2009, three intrepid boys came to Liberty Hall Historic Site for Seeds, Weeds, and History camp.  The children learned about the garden of Liberty Hall and where food comes from. They took a trip to the Farmers' Market, and cooked food from the market and from cherries they picked themselves. They also made corn husk "action figures" and planted seeds.  It was a fun time for all.  (Bottom two rows of pictures)
