Clock, Case |
| Description |
Columnar case clock. Case is mahogany. Top has three brass finials set beside and into a broken pediment. Sides of case contain two columns. Base is skirted and bracket footed. Door has keyhole with brass surround and two glass panels. The upper panel is clear and covers the face. The bottom (which has been replaced) is reverse painted and has an image of two buildings, one large and one small. Center of bottom panel is clear to allow viewing of pendulum. Face is white board with Arabic numerals and floral designs in the corners. Hands are black metal with openwork diamonds in the center of each. Inside on side panel is a label that reads "Eli Terry E. Terry and Sons". |
