Object Name Lamp, Oil
Description Garniture of three Argand lamps. Each lamp has a glass chimney and oil reservoir and iron base and lamp. Center lamp has two lamps and chimneys. Chimneys are tubular blown glass with bulbous ends. Reservoirs are cut glass that is panelled. Reservoirs have lids that have been glued into place. Bases are square columnar and support arms that are hollow and terminate in oil burners. Each lamp has gold floral decoration band and gold trim around base. Each lamp also has label that reads "Messenger and Sons, 63 Hatton Garden London & Birmingham".
