Description: Cherry and poplar tall post bed. Posts are spiral turned with spikes at top and blocks where boards join. Posts have button shaped bolt covers. Head board has broken pediment and foot board has block crest on top rail. Bed was built with pegs for ropes but has been modified to take frame. On top of posts is frame for a canopy. Frame is made of four boards with molding at top and at bottom.
