| Description |
Square box piano. Legs are twisted baluster turned and footed with wheels. Legs are capped with acanthus leaf capitals and brass collars. Bottom of case has three drawers. Keyboard has 69 keys. Back of keyboard box has two openwork lattice panels and inlay name plate that says "John Goodman Frankfort Kentucky 1801". back of keyboard box also has two leaf decorations.
Keyboard cover is hinged and opens to form music stand. Piano has ormolu trim. |
