Description Portrait of middle-aged woman facing left. Woman appears to be seated in a chair draped with a shawl or overcoat of some kind. She is wearing a black dress with a white lace neck ruffle and a white bonnet. Painting is framed in gilt frame with gesso rosettes and anthemions at each corner.
