Object Name Quilt
Description Silk and velvet quilt. Top is black velvet with multicolored medallions made from hexagonal silk pieces. Each medallion has button at center. center of quilt is hand embroidered with a portrait of General Shelby on a horse and his name underneath. Top of quilt is bordered with red velvet the has been hand embroidered with a multicolor floral design. Quilt is backed with metallic blue-green silk quilted in plumes, circles and medallions. Quilt is edged with cord of red, black, green, and yellow silk and fine red fringe.
