| Description |
Silk and velvet quilt. Top is black velvet with multicolored medallions made from hexagonal silk pieces. Each medallion has button at center. center of quilt is hand embroidered with a portrait of General Shelby on a horse and his name underneath. Top of quilt is bordered with red velvet the has been hand embroidered with a multicolor floral design. Quilt is backed with metallic blue-green silk quilted in plumes, circles and medallions. Quilt is edged with cord of red, black, green, and yellow silk and fine red fringe. |
