Print of a drawing of a Greco-Roman mythological scene. Scene depicts an Amazon in a chariot drawn by lions. The Amazon is wearing a toga and bears a spear in her right hand. There is a girl standing on the back of the chariot and bearing a wreath over the head of the chariot rider. There are two satyrs standing to the right of the lions pulling the chariot and bearing grapes. Underneath image is the title "Triomphe d'Ariadne". There are three inscriptions directly underneath the picture: "Sculpte par Guiberti", "Desinne par J.B. Wicar", and "et Grave par Panquet." |
