What information is included in these lesson plans?
The lesson plans on the Liberty Hall website are for grades 4th, 5th, and 6th. The video of Liberty Hall can be successfully used to teach about Kentucky and United States history and to cover topics such as government, art appreciation, creative writing, etc. Teachers should read the Educator Information page and then choose the lesson plan that works best. Extensions are included for each lesson plan so lessons can be directed according to the needs of the students.

Where can I find the Liberty Hall of Kentucky video?

Yes! We would love to have you and your students come to Frankfort and visit Liberty Hall. We provide a specialized student tour where students can learn about Liberty Hall at Liberty Hall where the Brown family lived 200 years ago.
