Liberty Hall Historic Site is located at 202 Wilkinson Street (Orlando Brown House and offices) and 218 Wilkinson Street (Liberty Hall), between Main and Wapping Streets in downtown Frankfort. LHHS is easily accessible from Interstate 64 via exits 53B and 58.

Directions

From I-64 Eastbound 

Take exit 53B. Follow US 127 to Wilkinson Street. Turn right. Go under railroad trestle. Liberty Hall is on the right in the next block. 

From I-64 Westbound 

Take exit 58. Follow US 421 which turns into Wilkinson Street. Go past Buffalo Trace Distillery. Go under the railroad trestle.  Liberty Hall is on the right in the next block.

Park for Free

Free on-street parking is available on Wilkinson Street along the front of the site.  There are also spaces adjacent to the houses on Main and Wapping Streets. 

Take the Trolley

The Frankfort Trolley stops in front of Liberty Hall Historic Site at least once each hour between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday-Saturday from April-October. The trolley is a free service connecting many sites of cultural and historical interest in downtown Frankfort. For more information, visit the Frankfort Transit Department.

Visit the Neighborhood

Liberty Hall Historic Site is a short walk from the shops, restaurants, and other attractions of downtown Frankfort. Nearby historical attractions include the Kentucky History Center and Museums and the Capital City Museum, and the neighborhood also features diverse architectural styles and informative historical markers. Other Frankfort features—including the state capitol, Buffalo Trace Distillery, and the Salato Wildlife Education Center—are short drives away.
